Position: Infrastructure Optimization Solutions Architect Description: The Infrastructure Optimization consulting team specializes in helping Savvis customers optimize and enhance their infrastructure architecture in the areas of Cloud Adoption (Private/Public), DR Enablement, Infrastructure Automation and Orchestration and Server Virtualization.The ideal candidate for this position will possess a deep and broad understanding of these areas. The candidate more than likely will have a strong background in server administration (Wintel/Lintel/RISC) but over the years will have broadened their knowledge into areas of storage, networking, load balancers and other infrastructure components so that when they develop technical architectures for the customer they speak intelligently about the use of infrastructure beyond just servers. The candidate must be ok with travel (up to 50%), comfortable in preparing customer deliverables (technical architectures, presentations, papers etc.) for Savvis customers and should be someone who quickly learns Savvis product offerings.
