Our UX Designers work with product managers and business owners to determine user-focused requirements, wireframe and prototype torefine designs and gain consensus among stakeholders, and define interface elements and visual style to ensure usability, desirability, usefulness and accessibility.Define product requirements to ensure usability and a user centered product design. Design interactions and create wireframes to communicate with team members and stakeholders during the design and discoveryphase of a project. Develop prototypes using standards compliant, accessible HTML and CSS.Ensure that interface designs are usable and follow company design and accessibility standards. Assist product owners in the development of user story acceptance criteria when needed to guide developers and quality assurance teams. Participate in usability evaluations and user research projects.Ensure that the products are ready for release.Mentors junior user interface designers.Other duties as assigned. Bachelors Degree in a design related field or technical field, or equivalent experience is required.Minimum of two (2) years experience in interface design and product development.Skills/knowledge/abilities Strong usability design skills and visual senseStrong proficiency in the following: XHTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), webstandardsExperience with JavaScript andJavaScript frameworksExperience gathering user requirements andtranslating user needsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills,detailed oriented Ability to communicate all aspects of arequirement through a designAbility to quickly learn new emergingtechnologies; flexible and adapt to any given situationExcellent customer service attitude,communication skills (written and verbal), and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational and time managementskillsAbility to work under pressure and in high stress situations, and yet work efficiently in a fast paced environmentLocation in either Indianapolis, IN, Centennial, CO or New York, NY.
