Malcolm Pirnie, the Water Division of ARCADIS, seeks a Client Progam Manager to join our team in Blue Plains, DC on a major wastewater system improvement program over a multi-year period for one of the largest sewer collection and conveyance systems in the Country. The qualified candidate would be an expert in trenchless technology, wet weather technology, sewer rehab and/or buried infrastructure technology. This position encompasses major responsibilities as the Deputy Program Manager for a $1.6B improvement program. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Overall program strategy, tactics, and procedures ---requires sophisticated knowledge of buried infrastructure programs related to planning, inspections, condition assessment, rehabilitation, operations, design, and construction. Projects authorization ---requires solid client listening skills, combined with overall program management skills to clearly define problems, objectives, scope, and sound cost and schedule estimating experience; Organize and direct internal staff and external subcontractors in accordance with project priorities, guidelines and contractual obligations. Resource management/job assignments --- will, in time, require comprehensive understanding of all works requested by client and the skills and capabilities of ARCADIS staff. Program controls and audits --- familiarity with Primavera 6 as a CIP scheduling tool is desired, or the skills to learn it in time. Technology expertise --- requires reasonably high level of expertise in buried infrastructure technologies.
