Details: The Financial Applications Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert for Oracle Applications financial modules, supporting users primarily in the Roswell GA site on a daily basis and all other sites globally. The candidate will also participate in Oracle Applications projects and enhancements, serving as a project track leader and/or team member. The candidate will need to function both independently and as a member of the Global team. Must be willing to travel on business as needed. Approximately 15% travel will be required, both domestically and occasionally internationally.Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:Provide Oracle financial applications support to Corporate Finance.Translate user requirements into IT deliverables.Provide training and coaching to users.Take part in Oracle applications projects to support (30% time), implement new modules or enhance existing functionality, serving as either a team member or the Project Manager.Review, analyze and improve business processes, both at a local and at a global level.Work as a representative of a global team, to both handle local issues and support team members in their issues in other sites around the Globe.Minimum Requirements:Must have a degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or certified CPA with relation to Information Technology, or equivalent experience.6 years’ experience working with Oracle Applications financial modules, with recent skills in Oracle Applications release 11i/R12.Extensive exposure and experience in the following Oracle Applications modules: Accounts Receivable, Order Management, General Ledger and overall understanding of QTC Process.Strong background in the Order to Cash Process with deep knowledge in Revenue recognition processes.Demonstrated experience in supporting users, performing troubleshooting and issue resolution.Must be able to produce professional, detailed documentation of work products.Must be able to work in a dynamic environment and be able to meet deadlines under pressure.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work in a global, multi-cultural environment, supporting clients based in different geographical/national sites.Must maintain a positive and diplomatic demeanor when interacting with customers and colleagues.Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, and SS verification.Preferred Requirements:Prior knowledge in any of the following Oracle Applications modules is a definite asset: Configurator, Quoting, Pricing, Install Base.Experience in the following would also be considered an asset:Experience with Oracle Discoverer, OBIEE and Noetix Views.Familiarity with Oracle base tables and ability to write SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data.Ability to debug Oracle workflows.Understanding of US GAAP, EITF 08-01 and SOP 97-2 would be beneficial but not compulsory.Verint is an equal opportunity employer.
