This position will provide IS vision and leadership for the area of document management and enterprise content management systems. The position will facilitate effective architecture, strategy development, business planning, and exceeding the customer’s expectations in document & content management program execution. The position will focus on continuous improvement and EVA driven results. This position will manage and provide leadership to internal employees and external partners to deliver upon the business requirements. The IS Architect will be expected to successfully deliver upon projects greater than 250k in size and scope aligning to project management best practices. The ideal candidate will clearly demonstrate their ability to deliver upon complex projects within the document & enterprise content management solutions. This includes complex business process automation, workflows and systems integrations. The ideal candidate will have a solid detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Share Point system architecture, systems administration, best practice and governance and an understanding of Information Systems controls and Sarbanes Oxley legislation. Reporting directly to the Director Information Systems, this position will be located at either the Cranes facility in Shady Grove, PA or Manitowoc WI.Essential Job Functions• Maintain and implement a multiple year strategy to consolidate many existing document management applications into the Share Point document & enterprise content management solution set.• Provide project management and overall oversight for the implementation of the document & enterprise content management solution set. Ensuing that customizations that standardized, documented, and well aligned to the overall architecture.• Applications development management oversight for team members in non ERP (.NET) and ERP (SAP ABAP) while building a highly effective and engaged team & ensuring timely and accurate project completions.'• Facilitate business planning, strategy planning, organization, and overall alignment for document & enterprise content management.• Actively manage and be managed within the enterprise matrix as required. The document & enterprise content management solution set will be managed collaboratively via the Cranes global IS Directors and steering committee.• Deliver complex information systems developments projects in partnership with non-technical business project leaders.Job Requirements/Working Conditions• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or Management of Information systems and at least 7 years of information technology experience is required. A minimum of 10 years of information technology experience would be considered in lieu of the degree.• Three or more years’ experience with applications management and architecture required.• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification to be obtained within 12 months of employment.• Clearly demonstrated Microsoft architecture experience is required.• One or more years’ experience working with a global content & document management solution required.• Preferred Certifications: PMI PMP, SAP, ITIL Foundations. Six Sigma• Experience with portal and single sign-on solutions preferred.• Three or more years’ experience working in a global environment leveraging Share Point for content management preferred.• Experience working globally and managing external development resources including offshore is highly desirable• Core technical experience in a least two of the following areas: Business Analysis, Application Technology, Database, Business Intelligence or Infrastructure Technology.• Multi-lingual a plus: English; Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, or Mandarin a plus.• Dynamic leader able to adjust leadership style to resources and the given situation to yield the greatest possible results.• Must be able to work in and achieve results in a matrix organization.• Must be technically competent and possess excellent leadership, communication, and team building skills.• Must be a demonstrated champion of change & innovation.• Must have solid project management experience with a proven track record of managing projects to successful completion.• Broad understanding of global business processes.J2W:CB3J2W:MON1EEO STATEMENTThe Manitowoc Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
