Details: Indiana Interactive, LLC develops and manages the state of Indiana Web portal (www.IN.gov) and develops eGovernment solutions. Indiana Interactive, a subsidiary of NIC Inc. [NASDAQ: EGOV], is located in Indianapolis, IN and is seeking a temporary system architect with skills, which will include time management, technical expertise, and network engines.  This person must be able to provide quality assurance for all hardware and network devices.   This position is a temporary position anticipated to last 6-12 months, but has the potential to convert into a permanent full-time position. Primary Functions: Design and Develop complex Internet and e-commerce applications in efficient implementations Work with customers and other staff to determine project specifications Support quality assurance and documentation as required Apply technical expertise in one or more of technical disciplines Ability to work with Creative and Development teams to architect enterprise applications Software languages (Seek knowledge, skills, and abilities) Network/Internet Engines (e.g., Apache-et al) and applications including communications protocols/security WEB portal and system applications design, development and management Database interface programming Able to rapidly master and use other technical tools/concepts/methods as needed Support other assignments and duties as directed
