Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION: Develop and implement process controls in production processes. Develop test plans and testing procedures. Represent Test Department during contract negotiations. Design and evaluate testing hardware and equipment. Evaluate and make recommendations for process improvements and troubleshooting. Interact with customer/government source inspectors. Insure all quality and test requirements are implemented in a timely manner. Assist with material review board actions and vendor problems. Work closely with Project Engineers and evaluate procedures and product. Support Testing and Test Technicians as required. Support AIE listing for Test Equipment.
