This is a senior-level position requiring an in-depth understanding of our business and the ability to look across the entire organization to develop and promote a strategic vision of our data environment. This includes ownership of the enterprise logical model, standards definition, drives consolidation of redundant data, enforces the strategic vision through data models and performs data analyst and data modeling roles for highly complex or critical projectsExperience• Demonstrated experience in relational and dimensional data modeling with experience in Enterprise and project-level models with an ability to understand, produce, and extend large and complex data models for operational and dimensional-reporting data stores.• The ideal candidate has extensive experience in database theory and design working with large data sets at scale, and be knowledgeable with all the new trends in the data world.Skills & Qualifications• Minimum 8 years of IT experience, with at least 8 years as Data Architect• Strong Oracle DBMS, PL/SQL and transactional database experience.• Strong conceptual, logical and physical data modeling and data architecture experience.• Experience in defining and assessing Architectural options.• Performed and led data migration on RDMS databases.• Experienced with ER Diagrams and data modeling tools such as ErWin.• Experience with identifying reporting and information requirements.• Excellent communication skills.• Experience with defining B2B and EAI XML and non-XML messaging standards a plus• Experience with Oracle Spatial 11g a plus• OGC standards knowledge a plus• GIS experience a plusEducation• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, MS preferred with a minimum of 8 years of applicable experience.CompensationOur compensation package includes: competitive base salary; annual incentive plan with payouts based on results; choice of medical plan; dental, life and disability insurance; employee assistance program; flexible spending accounts; a 401(K) plan with a competitive company match; tuition reimbursement; 10 paid holidays and 4 weeks paid time off.  DigitalGlobe is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
